Miguel Corona served four years in the United States Marine Corp. While serving he received the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, 2 Certificates of Commendation, and 2 Letters of Appreciation, for outstanding service in personnel administrative duties and human resources services. After the Marine Corps., Miguel received his AA in Administration of Justice and obtained his Homeland Security certificate, from American River College.
